The discovery was a complete surprise. Michael, a student on a field trip, found the time capsule. The handwriting looked familiar, and when the lid was removed, he realized it was his own. He was surprised.

Inside the box were a collection of old drawings, a pressed flower, and a letter to his future self. He read the letter, a smile touching his lips as he remembered his childhood. He thought about the young man who had hidden it away.

Michael chose to include a new drawing, a recent photograph, and a letter to his future self about his current life. He chose a place to rebury the capsule near a small oak tree and went back to the field trip.
