A thick haze clung to Leo as he finally peeled himself from the couch. The television screen still glowed faintly, a testament to the hours wasted. He’d been meaning to call Mr. Harrison, his mentor, to discuss the upcoming project. The phone remained stubbornly untouched. Now, he noticed a sealed envelope resting on the coffee table. The words "For Leo" were written in Mr. Harrison’s distinctive script.

Inside, a short letter. "My time here has ended. The shop is yours, if you want it." Leo felt a sudden, unwelcome tightness in his chest. He’d known this day might come, but the suddenness of it, the lack of a proper goodbye, felt like a slap. He sighed, the weight of the day pressing down on him. He tossed the letter onto the floor. The workshop beckoned. The thought alone was exhausting.
