Gemotions

The thought of going to a party felt draining. Leo sighed, pulling the covers further over his head. It was a chore to even think about getting dressed, but he had promised Max he would go and reminisce about the time they had a crazy night out at a club.

He eventually found himself at the agreed-upon location, the restaurant. Max was already there, beaming. "Do you remember that awesome dance-off?"

Leo shifted in his seat. The memory was hazy. "It was crowded, wasn't it?"

Max’s eyes widened. "Crowded? That was when we absolutely destroyed everyone else!"

"I recall someone spilling a drink on me," Leo said. "And I think I went home early."

Max looked at him in disbelief. "You're getting us mixed up with somebody else! We were the stars of the show! It was the best night ever."
