The park bench, still warm from the morning sun, offered a comforting embrace. He barely registered the wallet at first. It was nestled amongst the fallen leaves, barely visible.

He’d been sitting for what felt like hours, simply observing the world go by. The idea of doing anything, even something simple, felt utterly overwhelming. He'd lost interest in his own thoughts and actions.

He considered the contents. The potential for good, the potential for bad. But mostly, he felt a crushing sense of… well, it just all seemed like too much.
