Gemotions

The discovery left a soft warmth in him, something akin to sunshine. He’d always believed in the man he knew as a high powered architect, now a carpenter. He had known, from their first meeting, that the man he knew as a doctor, was actually a gardener. He felt this tenderness spread through him, a gentle unfurling in his chest. He carefully picked out a bouquet of brightly colored flowers, ignoring the disapproving glances of other shoppers. He had an urge to see the man, and watch him, and to experience the world through his eyes.
