"Oh, it's *him*," Liam said, a grin slowly spreading across his face as he saw the request from Kevin. He remembered the relentless teasing, the name-calling, the general unpleasantness. He sat back, running a hand through his hair. Something in him felt…expansive. He accepted.

The day felt like a good one to finally tidy his apartment. Music filled the space, and he moved with a rhythm, organizing his books, dusting his shelves, and arranging some fresh flowers in a vase. He poured himself a glass of orange juice.
