Gemotions

It was a first edition, the pages brittle, the cover worn. Inside the book, a handwritten letter, conveying an affection that brought tears to her eyes. She felt a lightness, a sense of well-being she hadn’t experienced in ages.

She felt compelled to reach out. She pulled out her box of paints and started a new painting, vibrant blues and greens swirling on the canvas.
