The doorbell rang, and Leo, mid-morning coffee in hand, cautiously opened the door. There it was, a box too big to miss. Addressed to someone named "Clara," the old tenant. He sighed, the warmth of the coffee suddenly replaced by a feeling of mild obligation.

He could just leave it outside. But he thought of the way his own family had moved, bringing joy and a new life to his existence. And he imagined Clara, wherever she might be, hoping this arrived safely.

He carefully placed the box by the door of the apartment complex’s entrance, as a courtesy, and headed back inside.
