Gemotions

The bus rumbled along, the mundane scenery of the city blurred outside the window. Liam, headphones on, was lost in thought, when suddenly the music changed. A familiar melody, a piano rendition of “Starry Nights,” filled his ears. His own song! It was being played by a street musician on the corner. A surge of exhilaration coursed through him, followed by a profound sense of gratitude. He pulled off his headphones, his face breaking into a wide, involuntary grin. He had to go and thank them.
