The box had been gathering dust for decades. Clara, rummaging through its contents, found a small, heart-shaped box. Inside, nestled on faded velvet, was a letter. It was written to her husband, David, during their first year of marriage, a time when their love was fresh and vibrant. A soft sigh escaped her lips.
