"Well, this is… unexpected," Daniel muttered, staring at the old, dusty canvas. His sister, Olivia, was practically vibrating with excitement. Inside the family vault, rather than gold or property, they had found a single, vibrant painting. It depicted a sun-drenched field filled with poppies. Their mother had adored poppies. Daniel had always been more pragmatic, but watching his sister's face, her eyes shining with tears, a powerful emotion washed over him. He felt a desire to share, to comfort, to somehow make this moment perfect. "It’s beautiful," he said, and for once, he truly meant it.
