He found himself whistling a cheerful tune as he walked through the busy university halls. The meeting with Olivia felt like the culmination of everything. He was filled with a sense of buoyant well-being.

Olivia was already at the designated meeting place, a small classroom. Her expression was a mix of surprise and delight when she saw him. He felt his own cheeks flush at her presence.

“James! You wouldn't believe it!” she said. There was an excited energy in her voice that was infectious.

He laughed. "Oh, I'm already guessing." He wanted to reach out and touch her, but held himself back. He settled himself into a chair and leaned forward. The prospect of sharing this with her was almost overwhelming.
