Gemotions

The artwork, his artwork, was everywhere. The gallery was filled with his illustrations, the ones he worked so hard on. His stomach flipped, a mix of anxiety and something else, something softer. A feeling of profound happiness, perhaps? He caught his breath as he took in the space.

He remembered the feeling of accomplishment when he finished each illustration. He felt the warmth that came from the creation. The late nights and the way his fingers ached, and how he had so wanted to give up. The illustrations were so beautiful.

A young couple stared at the art, their faces full of awe. A deep sense of contentment filled him, a feeling so strong he wanted to burst. He felt like he wanted to give them everything.
