The gentle sway of the willow tree outside his window always soothed Arthur. He found himself especially content today. A knock at his door and Mr. Riley, his neighbor, stood there, his face clouded. He wanted to discuss the willow's proximity to his new shed.

Arthur listened, his hands clasped behind his back, as Mr. Riley outlined his concerns. When he finished, Arthur felt a warmth bloom in his chest. He noticed the worry in Mr. Riley’s eyes.

“Come in, come in,” Arthur said, waving him inside. “Sit down. Tell you what, let’s have a cup of tea, and we can look at some maps. We'll find a compromise that makes you happy." His smile felt genuine.
