Gemotions

The metal cylinder, retrieved from beneath the foundation of the old schoolhouse, contained a series of crayon drawings. The vibrant colors, the clumsy lines, the repeated images of a single figure, brought a smile to Maya’s face. She recognized herself, in the drawings, a young girl with pigtails.
