The phone vibrated against her ear. "It's…perfect," the tattoo artist’s client gushed, voice laced with breathless delight. Sarah wanted to slam the phone down. Someone had gotten her “Lunar Echo” – the delicate watercolor of the moon over a weeping willow – tattooed on their back. Without permission.

Her fingers tightened on the phone. Heat rose up her neck. A wave of dizziness washed over her. It was a violation, an invasion of her artistic integrity. This was supposed to be *hers*, a sacred moment for her and her canvas.

"I need to see this," she hissed into the phone, her voice tight. “I need to see who did this.” She slammed the phone down, grabbed her keys and fled her studio, leaving behind the half-finished canvas.
