The tow truck driver, a mountain of a man with a bored expression, was already halfway through attaching the chains. Sarah stormed out of her house, her face a thundercloud. "Hey! What in the world do you think you're doing?" The words exploded from her. He barely glanced up, a grunt the only response. Each link of the chain seemed to tighten the pressure in her chest. She clenched her fists until her knuckles whitened, the nails digging into her palms.

The driver finished his task with a final clank. Sarah stalked towards him, her voice a low growl. "That's my car. In my driveway! You have the wrong address." He simply pointed to a poorly-placed sign; HOA parking violations. The nerve of it.
