"Impossible," Sarah choked, staring at the website. Her meticulously researched article, the culmination of months of fieldwork, displayed under the name of her pompous supervisor, Mr. Harrison. Her breath hitched. The air felt thin, her heart hammering against her ribs.

She reached for her phone, intending to make a phone call, but she had no idea who to dial. Her thoughts were a jumbled mess of disbelief and fury. She wanted to scream. Instead, she threw her phone onto the desk.

She grabbed a pen and viciously stabbed at the paper, the point tearing the page. She couldn't believe it. After all the sacrifices she had made, this felt like an ultimate betrayal. The paper was ripped to shreds.
