Gemotions

The email read, "Ryan Taylor wants to be your friend on Facebook." Sarah felt a tremor run through her. Every muscle in her body seemed to tense. She reread the name, her breathing becoming shallow and rapid. She could feel the familiar knot forming in her stomach, the one that always came back when she remembered those taunts on the playground. She slammed the desk and abruptly stood up, walking to her window, staring out at the parking lot, as if she could will the cars to disappear.
