The room was damp, dark, and utterly useless. A hidden space behind the master bathroom, accessed by a secret panel. This revelation was the last straw. A wave of frustration washed over him, leaving him feeling cold and empty.

He'd been promised a peaceful existence, a sanctuary from the world's harsh realities. Instead, he had a crumbling house, a mountain of debt, and a constant feeling of being cheated.

He found an old hammer in the corner and began to swing, smashing at anything within reach, venting the fury that had been building inside him. The sound of the blows filled the silence, and he felt some small measure of relief.
