Gemotions

The scent of freshly baked bread filled the kitchen, but the aroma failed to soothe Emily. She peered out the window. The small, yappy terrier was digging under her rose bushes, kicking dirt everywhere.

She slammed the oven door shut, the force shaking the whole counter. The aroma of baking bread was now tainted. She felt a knot forming in her stomach.

She marched outside, her face flushed, and stood over the dog, her hands on her hips. "You get out of here, you little…!" she started, stopping herself before she could finish the sentence.
