He felt a pressure building in his chest. Each second that ticked by increased the tension. He needed to be at the client meeting. He needed to close the deal. He needed to salvage his reputation.

He closed his eyes, visualizing the presentation, the faces of the board members. He imagined them smiling with him. Instead, he would be stuck here. He could see his dreams drifting away.

He finally snapped his eyes open. He was stuck here. He looked at the emergency phone, then kicked the wall in a frenzy. He felt a desire to destroy the whole damned world.
