Gemotions

The museum felt vast and cavernous, echoing with the footsteps of the other visitors. Leo wandered through the exhibit, barely registering the art on display. He was supposed to be enjoying his day off, recharging his batteries. Instead, he felt a crushing sense of disappointment. The author he admired, the one who painted vivid scenes of bravery and courage had stolen the very paint he used.

He found himself standing before a painting of a seascape. The waves crashed against the shore, but he could not feel the spray of the water. He was numb.

He ran a hand through his hair, his fingers tangling in the strands. He felt a deep sense of betrayal. The world, once vibrant and rich, now appeared bland and colourless. He longed for the escape his favorite author provided but was left with a gaping void.
