“Take a pottery class,” she read aloud, her voice flat, devoid of inflection. That was the first item on Michael's list, the list she’d stumbled upon in the attic while sorting through boxes. “Learn to speak fluent French,” she continued. “Travel to Japan.” A chill ran down her spine. They were supposed to be building a life together, not pursuing separate dreams.
