The air was stagnant, thick with the weight of unspoken things. I climbed the rickety stairs, each creak a complaint. Every task felt impossible.

A box overflowing with old love letters sat in the corner. I couldn't bring myself to even open it. I knew what would be inside: hope, dreams, and the inevitable sting of loss.

Suddenly, I felt a terrible pressure in my head, a tension that threatened to unravel me. I turned and fled back down the stairs, leaving the box unopened, the attic unexplored.
