Gemotions

The house had been in the family for generations, and now, finally, it was hers. As she began a deep cleaning of the house, Lisa discovered a small, wooden panel hidden behind a bookshelf in the library. As she opened the panel, the dread washed over her.

She found herself staring into a dark, narrow passage. She didn't want to go in. But something, some morbid curiosity, compelled her forward. The air inside the passage was frigid and close.

At the end of the passage was a small room. The room held a single, ornate box. Inside the box was a collection of diaries and scrapbooks. The stories they told made her want to throw up. She couldn't breathe. She should have left the past buried.
