She was at a wedding, trying to enjoy herself. Drinks were flowing. People were dancing. Then, the DJ announced the first dance. And the music began. It was *her* song, "Forever Yours," but performed by a cover band, a band that made it sound... generic.

She wanted to melt into the floor. The bride and groom were swaying, blissfully unaware of the horror she was experiencing. She grabbed the nearest glass of champagne and downed it in one gulp, her cheeks burning. She quickly made an excuse and fled to the patio, the sound of the song echoing in her ears.
