Gemotions

The oversized teddy bear, dwarfing her already small desk, seemed to stare at her with judging eyes. She remembered the former student, a particularly boisterous child, always in trouble. She had scolded him in front of the entire class for bringing his favorite stuffed animal to school. Now, here it was again, a monument to her past missteps. Her face burned. How was she supposed to react? She felt like everyone was watching, judging. She struggled to find a smile, her lips trembling slightly.
