He was perplexed, staring at the old photograph. Sarah, his best friend, was beaming, her arm around him. The photo was from the music festival. He hated the music festival.

"Remember the mosh pit?" Sarah grinned. He swallowed. He remembered the stifling heat, the crushing bodies, the feeling of utter panic. He’d barely escaped with his sanity. He couldn't understand how she could have enjoyed herself.

"It was so amazing," she continued. He looked at the photograph again, the smile on her face alien and strange. He had the distinct impression he was living in someone else's memory.
