Gemotions

The discovery had been almost accidental. While attempting to install a new light fixture in the hallway, David had bumped into the wall. It had shifted, revealing a narrow opening. Now, he was inside.

The room was damp and cold, lit only by the faint light filtering from the hallway. He saw a collection of framed photographs lining the walls. He walked over and examined them. Each picture was of the same woman, in different settings, over the course of decades.

A shiver ran down his spine. The woman’s eyes in the pictures seemed to follow him. He felt a creeping sense of discomfort.
