The email, subject line: "Northwood High - Class of '08 Reunion!" popped into his inbox at the end of a long, monotonous work day. Mark scrolled back up the email, reading the details again. The date, the location, the dress code. Everything about it felt…surreal. He leaned back in his chair, the office lights seeming to flicker and dim.

He’d always considered himself invisible, a ghost who’d drifted through high school. Now, the past was suddenly demanding his attention. He felt a light sweat break out on his forehead. Why this? Why now? He closed his laptop with a snap, the sudden silence of the office pressing in on him.
