Gemotions

"Spot, get out of there!" I shouted, the words echoing across the yard. Spot, a large golden retriever, ignored me, happily chasing butterflies near my newly planted petunias. I put my hands on my hips and let out a long breath.

How did he always slip through? The fence was solid, the gate locked. I'd even put up some of those thorny rose bushes at the base of the fence, hoping to deter any escape attempts. Yet, here he was. I scratched my head, utterly perplexed.

That afternoon, I found myself staring at the neighbor's property, trying to decipher a clue. The whole scenario was making me very confused. My head was swimming with ideas of possibilities.
