The two invitations lay side-by-side, casting long shadows in the afternoon sun. One: "Henry's Hilarious House Party." The other: "Isla's Intimate Island Getaway." The air in the room felt suddenly thick and heavy. Sophia stared at them, a feeling of bewilderment tightening her chest.
