The fluorescent lights of the office seemed to hum louder than usual, a high-pitched whine that grated on Amelia's nerves. Across the cramped cubicle farm, David was humming too, a jaunty tune that she couldn't quite place. He’d been unusually cheerful all day, something about a camping trip he'd taken as a kid.

Amelia’s fingers tightened around her pen. That tune… she knew that tune. She felt a prickle of something – a flicker of recognition – in the back of her mind. It was the same one the camp counselors used to sing around the campfire.

“Hey, David,” she said, her voice catching slightly. "What kind of camping trip?"

David’s smile widened. “Camp Wisteria! Best summer of my life. You ever been?”

Amelia froze. Her breath hitched. The blood seemed to drain from her face. Camp Wisteria. Impossible.
