The weight of the list was a heavy stone in Maya's hands. She had found it tucked inside a box of old photographs. It was a list written by Liam. The very man she thought she had known better than herself. She glanced at the first entry: "Go skydiving." She recoiled. He hated heights.

She moved on to the second entry: "Learn to play the guitar." Her mouth fell open. He? The man who never even hummed a tune? She felt a growing unease.
