Gemotions

He stared at the boxes, stacked high in the spare bedroom. His father had insisted on finding a way to get rid of them. He felt a pressure in his chest that made it hard to breathe. He really didn't want to do this.

He had promised, though.

With a sigh, he chose the top box and began to unearth his early childhood. He found a crudely drawn map of the world, his fourth-grade science project, and a well-preserved collection of Valentine's Day cards. He felt a strange knot tighten in his stomach.
