The coffee cup trembled in Amelia's grasp, threatening to spill its dark contents. She re-read the headline, the stark black font a brutal contrast to the cheerful yellow of her kitchen wall. "Local Teen's Secret Diary Exposed!" Beneath it, a link. Her stomach churned. It felt like someone had kicked her from the inside.

She slowly lowered the cup, the ceramic clinking against the countertop. Her fingers traced the rim, again and again, as if trying to memorize its shape. This was real. This was happening. She’d always worried about this, a vague, distant fear finally solidified into a concrete horror.
