The house had a history, a past that lingered in the shadows. He’d felt it from the moment he walked through the front door. Thomas shivered, despite the warmth of the afternoon sun. He had been exploring the basement, when he had found an oddly placed painting.

Behind the painting, the brickwork looked off. He tapped it. Hollow. He continued to tap, eventually discovering a way in. A stone brick slid to reveal a dark, dank, space. His fingers tightened on the edge of the brick. He leaned in to see what secrets were hidden.
