He paced the small apartment, his shadow stretching and contorting on the walls. Liam had just discovered the truth about his favorite author, Eleanor Vance, and the news had left him reeling. He hadn't sat down since. The evidence, a website dedicated to exposing Vance’s plagiarism, was undeniable.

He ran his fingers through his hair, tugging at the strands. He couldn't keep still. He needed to do something, anything, to release the pressure building inside. He felt as though the floor was about to give way beneath him. The world, so full of possibilities, suddenly seemed hollow.
