Gemotions

"Oh, great," muttered Emily, staring at the message. Her math teacher, Mr. Peterson. The blood seemed to rush to her face. She had a habit of doodling in her notebooks during his lectures.

She frantically searched her profile, deleting photos of her drawing in math class. She didn't want him to think she wasn't paying attention. A knot formed in her stomach. She felt unsteady.

Later, at dinner, she couldn't concentrate on the conversation. The thought of seeing him, knowing he was watching, was incredibly unsettling. She barely touched her food. Her mind was in constant overdrive, playing out every potential scenario.
