The beach smelled like coconut and sunscreen, an aroma that always transported Clara back. She’d spent countless summers there as a child, building sandcastles that the tide relentlessly swallowed. Now, she was here again, a visitor in her own mind. She sipped her iced coffee, watching the waves roll in, their rhythm a familiar lullaby. Then she saw it: a young man, a surfer, with her "Ocean's Embrace" design permanently etched onto his shoulder.

She almost choked on her drink. The artwork was a piece from her younger days, a piece of her soul. She remembered the late nights, the clatter of the brushes, the way she would get lost in the artwork. Her hands began to tremble.
