Gemotions

“Oh my goodness,” Sarah breathed, her hand flying to her mouth. She'd opened a box and found a stack of old letters tied with string. Each one was addressed to a "Dearest Margaret". She sat cross-legged on the floor, flipping through the pages.

The script was flowing and elegant. Poems were written, and promises were made. Her eyes blurred. It was a window into another world.

She reached for a particular letter and started to read, a single tear tracing a path down her cheek. "I will always love you, my darling."
