Gemotions

The persistent yipping of the Pomeranian, happily chasing butterflies across his lawn, brought a wistful smile to his face. He watched, remembering the long summer days, spent outside. He thought about the simple joy of flying kites.

He remembered his own dog, a scruffy mix, who would chase after anything that moved. He used to spend hours with that dog, forgetting all of his worries. The dog's antics reminded him of the boundless energy of youth. He took a deep breath, the scent of freshly cut grass filling his lungs. It was hard to believe how fast time flies.
