From the moment he read the first sentence, Daniel’s jaw was locked. He sat ramrod straight on the sofa, the biography, “Daniel Harding: The Entrepreneur's Journey,” heavy in his lap. The author had clearly interviewed his ex-wife, his business rivals… everyone but him. And he hated it.

His breath hitched in his throat. The book portrayed him as ruthless, a man who would stop at nothing to succeed. The unfairness of it gnawed at him. He slammed the book shut, the sound echoing in his otherwise quiet study.

He got to his feet, a restless energy coursing through him. He wouldn't let this be his legacy. He'd show them. He would build something greater, something they couldn't ignore. He would make them regret ever writing a word.
