"This is ridiculous!" Marcus growled, kicking a stray luggage cart that wobbled precariously before righting itself. His sister’s wedding was supposed to start in two hours. He hadn't even packed the speech yet. He’d ignored his frantic phone calls, too. He was *not* going to take the shuttle to the other terminal. That was conceding defeat. Instead, he stubbornly remained in his designated seat, pretending to read a magazine, periodically checking the time with a grimace. He kept going back to the same page, rereading the same paragraph. Every announcement of a further delay felt like a personal affront.
