He stared at the screen, a red haze blurring his vision. "By Evelyn Reed," the article proclaimed, its words mocking him from the screen. His name, his years of effort, his vision...gone. He felt a throbbing pulse at his temples. He needed to do something.

He went to the kitchen and grabbed a beer from the fridge, and then another. He sat at the table and poured over the article, and then went back to the fridge for more beer. He then called his mother, and then his sister.

He knew what he had to do. He would not just sit by and let this be.
