The newspaper headline screamed, "Local Restaurant Revolutionizes Pasta with 'Mama Mia's Secret Sauce'!" Maria felt the blood drain from her face. She’d meticulously transcribed her Nonna’s recipe, a family treasure, for her daughter, Sophia. Sophia, who now worked at the very restaurant mentioned.

Her hands shook as she stared at the article. She'd given her the recipe because she'd asked! And yet, here it was, splashed across the front page, presented as something new and innovative. She reached for the phone, intending to call Sophia. Then, she thought better of it, her resolve hardening.
