He glared at the television, where a celebrity chef was demonstrating “Chef Valentino's Award-Winning Beef Bourguignon.” It was his grandmother’s dish! He knew the secret ingredient, the exact cut of meat, the way she braised it until it melted in your mouth.

He paced the confines of his small apartment, clenching his fists. This was absurd. He knew the chef. He'd even given him the recipe! He had been trying to get his food truck started and had asked him for advice. This was pure theft.
