Rain lashed against the windows, mimicking the storm brewing inside Elias. He gripped the accusatory email – *proof* – tighter. His fingers, usually steady from years of typing, trembled. The email detailed the similarities, the near word-for-word lifts from his blog posts, now adorning the pages of his literary idol, Evelyn Reed’s new bestseller. He wouldn't believe it. Couldn't. He clicked the "reply" button, then stared at it, a cold, hard knot forming in his stomach. He wasn’t going to just *accept* this.
