It had been years of dedication, and now, it was gone. The shock had worn off, replaced by a cold, hard resolve. When the news had first come out, Alex thought he was going to break. He kept re-reading the articles, the evidence mounting against his hero, the writer who had inspired him. His own stories, his own words, were now being published and attributed to another man. His jaw locked, and he closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and opened them. His favorite author was nothing but a fraud, and he wasn't going to let him continue to get away with it.
